SURPRISEEE

I have glasses now!  I went so long without having them while the rest of my family had them, thinking I was cool.  Now I have them and think I am really cool and wish I had them earlier.  Yes, it is only the first day so I'll probably get sick of them.  But for now I love them!

I need to blog about this new place I'm living in and McCall.  Coming.  Some time.

family prayer

Lauren, Hannah, Claire, Kade, me and mom are sitting down trying to say family prayer.  Mom asks us a hundred times to be quiet for prayer but we just kept chatting away.  We noticed a wall in our house that was completely empty with a hole in it (not sure what from).  To the right of the hole was a cute decoration that says prayer on it just hanging from a nail.  It was crooked and very out of place.  We were laughing about who would have put it up there and had a few guesses.  Claire said she had put it on the door so we thought maybe it fell off the door and dad thought it went up there so put it there.  We were all laughing because it is out of place and not something mom would have done for a decoration (love you dad if it was you :)).  Then Claire says, "Such a funny marriage."  We all cracked up from that and Kade says to mom, "This is the first time I've seen you laugh."

Ten minutes later we say the prayer.  Sure do love my family.  I'll be doing a McCall post later but man was it great.  Home for a few days and then off to school!

First off, it was over a week and I was still coughing so I decided to goto the doctor again.  (More like Lindsay told me I should).  Good thing I did because turns out I had bronchitis.  Thanks Linds!  Who knew.  I wish I would have gone earlier so I wasn't coughing like a maniac for a whole week!  I got medicine and fixed that right up.

Now to the exciting news.  I AM STAYING HOME ALL OF AUGUST.  yay.  I am not working at vivint anymore and packed all my stuff up and moved out of my apartment.  I put a lot of my stuff at Aunt Janices (thanks janice!) and took the rest home!  When I say I'm staying home that basically means I'm living in McCall.  Here is the schedule for August. :)

August 3-8 McCall for the Farmer reunion
August 8-11 Fruitland
August 11-13 McCall with just the Biddles. Yesss.
August 13-20 McCall for the Nielson reunion
Then I'm coming home for a few days slash maybe staying in McCall longer, not sure yet.  And THEN going back to Utah for school!

Yes, I love McCall and can't wait.  And yes I won't be blogging at all.  Taking a little break!  Be excited for me.  And miss me. :)

Remember this girl?

If NOT this is good old Kara who is my BFF from high school.  She really is great.  We always have fun together!  Well, she came down to Utah this last weekend.  IT WAS SO FUN.  I didn't take any pictures but good thing she did so I'll steal those from her and put them on here. :)

Our good friends Laura and Lindsay were flying back from Idaho and then we were hanging out that night!  Kara had a great idea to be waiting at the airport for them when they come off the plane with a sign.  Adorable?  I'd say!  Well, we waited 30 minutes and they still weren't there.  Started wondering what was going on and next thing we knew we got a call from them.  They were almost to their car in the parking lot.  They didn't check bags so went out another way.  Man was that a hoot.  We found each other and then the fun began.

We watched the notebook, had pizza and ice cream.  What could be better?

I had so much fun with these girls!  Can't wait to see them again!

surprise i'm back

Well, McCall was great.  DUH.  How could it not be.  

Also, I have been sick this past weekish.  Sick in the summer, weird?  The main issue is that I am barely ever sick like this and so its not too fun.  I have this cough that won't stop.  And my throat hurts.  I can NEVER fall asleep because I just keep coughing away.  I went to the doctor just to see if I had strep or something and I didn't.  Just a cold.  What an annoying cold I'd say!  A few eventful things happened at the doctor's office.

1) I weigh 6 pounds less than I did winter semester.  You know what this tells me?  Don't work out.  I worked out winter semester and am not now.  I mean!? 
2) I have high blood pressure.  The doctor told me to exercise regularly (oops) and eat less salt.  He also said to come back in a month to check on it and then he will see about giving me medicine. 

Talk about an eventful doctors appointment!  Don't worry it was barely high he said so I'm fine but good thing I went to the doctor I'd say!

Having an uncontrollable cough and sore throat/losing my voice is awesome when you work in a call center.  Luckily, I was put on project one day (which is what it sounds like, I don't answer the phones I do something else, in this case filing paper) and then today my supervisor sent me home!  He kept hearing me cough and asked how I was feeling and if I was going to get other people sick.  He said he'd rather me get better and not get people sick.  At first I was like dang ittt I already got up early to come to work and am now leaving.  Then I felt good about it because now I'm up early instead of sleeping in forever AND I can pack since I'm going home next week!  Yes, I need to pack up my whole apartment.  Hate this partttt.  Also, I will say I get nervous answering the phone because its like I really never know when this cough is going to come and how annoying to be talking to someone who coughs like a maniac.

K, long story for just being sick.  I'm not complaining.  But I kind of am. :)

Thats all.  I just can not wait.  My favorite place ever and its about time I go this summer!

A bit late...

 Last summer we went through dad's hope chest I guess it was?  And found all of these gems.  Or maybe it was just a missionary box because it was all germany/mission related. How was he this small?!

Sure was fun hearing mom and dad talk about the cute things they did for each other when they were both on missions.  Cuteee.
